No matter what festivities you celebrate this season, you should be able to celebrate it on Codewars.
End-of-year festivities are always better together, so let’s build this collection of themed Kata together. Whether you’re a seasoned Kata author, or a budding author (with 300+ points on your Codewars account), we need your help!
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for fun Kata at all ranks (preferably 6 kyu—1 dan) that focus on the following festivities:
· Hanukkah
· Advent
· Yule
· Christmas
· 12 Days of Christmas
· Bodhi
· New Year
· Winter solstice
We are also looking for Kata that celebrate or focus on:
· St Nicholas
· Santa
· Snow
· Gift-giving
· The importance of light
· Ugly sweaters
· Festive food and drink (turkeys, hot chocolate, cookies, gingerbread, eggnog)
· and similar themes.
What happens once you’ve created a Kata?
Send the URL of your festive Kata submission(s) to community@codewars.com to be added to our festive collection. Please send your Kata (Beta or Approved) to us by December 16, 2024, to be included in our December newsletter.
